Miaka Yatamoshi is the new kid in town and it's going to take some time for her to adjust to the way things work in Frackstonville. Miaka and her father moved from Japan to America in hopes of finding a place more accepting of their religious beliefs. Boy, were they wrong!

Though somewhat discouraged by the harsh reality that the United States of America isn't exactly the perfect country it's often made out to be, Miaka remains joyfully optimistic and only a little naïve. Cheerful, energetic, intelligent, and a bit of an oddball in her own right, Miaka assumes a "second in command" role among the Frackstonville geeks mainly because she's one of the only rational and responsible members of the team aside from Norm.
